Police have cracked a burglary gang known as “Gang Dhinesh Puchong” with the arrest of five men, including the leader and mastermind, last week.
Shah Alam district police chief ACP Shafien Mamat said the gang leader and a suspect were nabbed in a residential area in Kuala Lumpur on July 21 after they were spotted loitering in a suspicious manner in the area.
“A check on one of the suspects found that he was wanted by police for a theft and burglary case in Shah Alam.
“Further investigations led to the arrest of three more members of the group in Shah Alam.
“The gang leader also led police to his house in Klang, where they found and seized property believed to be stolen, such as a BMW car, three laptops, 20 mobile phones, and burglary tools,” he told a press
conference in Shah Alam today.
